Accommodations and Meals

The horse camp girls will be using bedrooms 1-2-3 and AP in the main house. Much like home, or college, 2-3 girls of similar age will share each room. They will have separate sleeping and chests of drawers for their clothing. The AP bedroom is reserved for an older, or returning camper who would be happy in a private room. The rooms are furnished with our old fashioned quilts and simple country furniture. Bathrooms will be shared by 4 girls.

Meals are served buffet style in the kitchen and dinning room. Menus are approved by a registered dietitian who is knowledgeable about nutritious foods popular with today’s kids. The main meal of the day is served at 1:00 after a cool-off swim that follows the morning lesson. This allows for late afternoon western riding. Supper will be a light, but ample meal, after the ride and horse care.
